Receiving Sound
This is a labelled diagram of the human ear and this is how the ear interprets the sound.
The outer part of the ear (the ear lobe) receives the sound waves and these sound waves are then channels them dwn the ear canal before reaching the ear drum. This sound is then passed o the auditory nerve where he sound is sent to the brain and we hear the noise.
Each part of the ear in the diagram plays a different role but, without any part of this ear the brain would not be able to take in and recognise the sound.
